My previous article outlined my astonishment at Bowls Victoria changing the State Championship Pairs format for Men from 2x2x2x2 to 3x3.  It seems I was not alone in my thoughts!

At the recent BV board meeting held in Corowa and Rutherglen, BV rescinded this move and also noted that the decision making processes that led to this change require a review.  With the stroke of a pen the format of this great championship can be changed yet with seemingly, continuous questionnaires nothing about Pennant is ever changed - with the sole exception being the final 4 format in recent years.
