Conditions of Play

1. The Bowls Committee of the Noosa Heads Bowls Club is the Controlling Body for this competition.

2. The games shall be governed by the Laws of the Sport of Bowls (including domestic regulations for Australia).

3. The first 42 entries received with fees will be accepted. No refund of entry fee after closing date.

64. The competition consists of games of 16 ends or 2 hours 10 minutes. If a round cannot be completed due to inclement weather it shall be considered completed if more than half the teams have completed more than 8 ends.

5. Scoring: Winners shall be determined in accordance with Law 44, firstly by the greatest number of points won, then the highest total margin of all game scores. 6 points will be given for a win & 2 points for a draw. In the event of a tie, the winner will be decided by the highest result after dividing the total shots for by the total shots against.

Note: Game wins will be awarded 6 points and a draw 2 points.

6. No team may win more than 1 prize.

7. No Trial Ends

8. Jack to be re-spotted as Law 15.5.2 (1.5m marks)

9. Dress: BA or Club approved clothing

10. The Controlling Body reserves the right to alter the conditions of play if necessary and its decision will be final in all matters.

11. If greens are not filled prize money may be adjusted.

12. No BYO lunches. Lunches to be ordered & paid for on arrival.
