Staged from May 30 to June 2, the 21st birthday of this event promises to be a thrilling affair with numerous current and former Australian representatives, state and district representatives and eight of the past 15 winners attending.

STS officials are hard pressed to name an outright favourite, but when pushed, nominated defending champion Anne Johns, as well as former winners Kelsey Cottrell (07), Karen Murphy (05, 09) with Carmen Anderson (04, 06) as her biggest challengers.

Newcomers this year include Debbie Logan, Jan Morton and Joan Tennent, while STS bowlers will cheer their own with Ann-Maree Peart, Lolita Treasure and Sally Hickman wearing the local colours.
